Virtual Musical Storytime (Online)


March 29, 2021

Ms. Kelley will offer weekly, virtual musical storytimes for children ages birth - 5 years on Monday after 4:30PM. These will be pre-recorded and posted to the Town of Ulster Public Library Children’s Facebook page. These early literacy storytimes will include stories that she has written, songs and an idea for a craft to make at home related to the theme.

Local Author Talk: Susan Stessin-Cohn

Join us and other Ulster County Libraries for this virtual local author talk! Susan Stessin-Cohn will present her book In Defiance: Runaways from Slavery in New York’s Hudson River Valley 1735-1831, which documents hundreds of fugitive slaves in the Hudson River Valley in the 18th and 19th centuries through reproductions and transcriptions of archival materials. Susan Stessin-Cohn is the Town Historian of New Paltz and is a member of the New Paltz Historical Society.

Virtual Musical Storytime For Families

The theme is rainbows. We will make a rainbow suncatcher during storytime. You can pick up a Take & Make kit at the library. Email children@townofulsterlibrary.org to reserve a kit.

We offer story times and other activities for children, teens, and adults, including a book discussion group. Check our program calendar or call the library at 845-338-7881.
