April 27, 2020Preschool Story Hour taps into the boundless energy of three to five-year-olds to get your child involved in this interactive story time. This program will engage your children with stories, finger plays and songs and encourage them to learn sounds, letter recognition, and new words as they grow into pre-readers. Each program is followed by a hands-on craft and snacks.

April 27, 2020After School Program at the Town of Ulster Public Library encourages learning through music, play, crafts and games. Each week is a different activity and snacks are provided. Ages 5 to 12 welcome.

Come join us as we make fun crafts using recycled materials. Also, help us make beautiful spring flowers. We will donate the flowers to the Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing to brighten the residents’ days. The program is open to all ages, and snacks will be served.

April 28, 2020Introducing Tutor Tuesday! If you or a student you know needs help with Social Studies or English homework send your questions in an e-mail to Josh at tech@townofulsterlibrary.org. When articulating your questions, please try to be as specific as possible and refrain from sending any links or files. Once you have asked your question, a grade 7-12 certified Social Studies teacher will respond to your queries via e-mail. These responses will take place every Tuesday from 12-2 PM until the library is re-opened.

April 29, 2020Baby & Me Story Hour focuses on developing your baby’s and toddler's pre-literacy skills. This lap-time story hour will introduce a love for books by using song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. The program will help improve motor, sensory, and social skills during play time. A hands-on craft and snack follow each program. Children ages 0-3 and caregivers welcome.

April 29, 2020Field Goods is a year-round local produce delivery service; customers receive 5 to 8 different fruit and vegetables (depending on bag size), plus optional add-ons. Bags cost $16 to $32 per week, and can be put on hold at any time. It’s flexible!
Field Goods purchases everything directly from over 80 small farms in the region. All of the produce is non-GMO, and most is organically grown.

April 30, 2020Join Town of Ulster Library teen coordinator Amy every Thursday @ 4pm for a Virtual Brainstorm! Teens can connect via ZOOM to talk about all the movies and shows, games and video games, and all the awesome books they have read, as well as brainstorm cool projects or crafts for T(w)een Labs to offer online and in person for when the library reopens. Bring a snack! Bring a pet! Come just to say hi!
