Preschool Story HourPreschool Story Hour – Preschool Story Hour taps into the boundless energy of three to five-year-olds to get your child involved in this interactive story time. This program will engage your children with stories, finger plays and songs and encourage them to learn sounds, letter recognition, and new words as they grow into pre-readers. Each program is followed by a hands-on craft and snacks. After School ProgramAfter School Program – After School Program at the Town of Ulster Public Library encourages learning through music, play, crafts and games. Each week is a different activity and snacks are provided. Ages 5 to 12 welcome. 1/6 - Learn about fossils and make your own fossil to take home. Read to Zoey - CANCELEDRead to Zoey - CANCELED – Zoey, our friend and certified therapy dog, visits and offers young readers a chance to increase their confidence in reading by spending time in a relaxing, stress-free environment. Registration required. Call to schedule a 15-minute session with Zoey. Lego NightLego Night – The program is free and open to families of all ages. We will supply the Legos, so all you have to bring is your imagination! |

Baby & Me Story Hour - CANCELEDBaby & Me Story Hour - CANCELED – Baby & Me Story Hour focuses on developing your baby’s and toddler's pre-literacy skills. This lap-time story hour will introduce a love for books by using song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. The program will help improve motor, sensory, and social skills during play time. A hands-on craft and snack follow each program. Children ages 0-3 and caregivers welcome. Field Goods Pick-Up - CANCELEDField Goods Pick-Up - CANCELED – Field Goods is a year-round local produce delivery service; customers receive 5 to 8 different fruit and vegetables (depending on bag size), plus optional add-ons. Bags cost $16 to $32 per week, and can be put on hold at any time. It’s flexible! Field Goods purchases everything directly from over 80 small farms in the region. "Take Your Child to the Library Day (TYCLD) is an international initiative that encourages families everywhere to take their children to their local library. Launched in 2011 in Connecticut by librarians Nadine Lipman (Waterford Public Library, retired) and Caitlin Augusta (Stratford Library) with artist Nancy Elizabeth Wallace, TYCLD raises community awareness about the importance of the library in the life of a child, and promotes library services and programs for children and families.
