Preschool Story Hour


October 29, 2018

Preschool Story Hour taps into the boundless energy of three to five-year-olds to get your child involved in this interactive story time. This program will engage your children with stories, finger plays and songs and encourage them to learn sounds, letter recognition, and new words as they grow into pre-readers. Each program is followed by a hands-on craft and snacks.

10/22 - Begin making holiday cards for the residents in the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury

10/29 - Halloween games, crafts, and music!

Read to Zoey

Zoey, our friend and trained therapy dog visits and offers young readers a chance to increase their confidence in reading by spending time with a certified therapy dog in a relaxing, stress-free environment.

Registration required. Call or come to the desk to schedule a 15 minute session with Zoey.

Baby & Me

Caregiver and child program for ages 0-3

Baby & Me time focuses on developing your baby’s and toddler's pre-literacy skills. This lap-time story hour will introduce a love for books by using song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. The program will help improve motor, sensory, and social skills during play time. The program runs for an hour and snacks are provided.

Field Goods Pick-Up

Field Goods is a year-round local produce delivery service; customers receive 5 to 8 different fruit and vegetables (depending on bag size), plus optional add-ons. Bags cost $16 to $32 per week, and can be put on hold at any time. It’s flexible!

Field Goods purchases everything directly from over 80 small farms in the region. All of the produce is non-GMO, and most is organically grown.
