Banned Graphic Novel Book ClubBanned Graphic Novel Book Club – Banned Graphic Novel Book Club Monday, June 27th -This One Summer by Mariko Tamaki 4PM All around the country, books for teens are being banned for all sorts of reasons. Libraries believe book banning is a form of censorship, and we invite everyone to make choices for themselves but not for others. Over the summer, every other week we’ll be reading a different graphic novel that has been banned, and listen to each other’s opinions about the book. Ages 13-18 welcome. No registration necessary. Please let a staff member know if you need to request a book. |

This year’s theme will be Oceans of Possibilities. If you want to join in on the excitement, our Summer Reading Kick-Off Party will be on June 28th from 4-6 PM. At the party you can pick up your reading logs, and besides that we’ll have live music, crafts, and prizes. Hope to see you there!
