November 5, 2018Town of Ulster Library is OPEN on Veteran’s Day Observed on Monday, November 12th
10 am to 12 pm - Free Coffee and Bagels
-Frank Reggero (retired Army, OIF) from the Ulster County (NY) Veteran Services will be on hand to answer questions on VA services and advise/inform the community on needed donation items.
10 am to 12 pm - Easy Craft Projects:
-American Flag Pins
-Mandala Rocks
10:30 am – 11:30 am – Intergenerational Pre-School Musical Story Hour
-Families are encouraged to bring a Veteran family member or a friend or neighbor to join in the story hour (preschool) and the after school program (5-12 years). The themes are honor, gratitude and respect. Both are musical programs.
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm – After School Program

This program will engage your children with stories, finger plays and songs and encourage them to learn sounds, letter recognition, and new words as they grow into pre-readers. Each program is followed by a hands-on craft and snacks.

Baby & Me time focuses on developing your baby’s and toddler's pre-literacy skills. This lap-time story hour will introduce a love for books by using song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. The program will help improve motor, sensory, and social skills during play time. The program runs for an hour and snacks are provided.

November 7, 2018Field Goods is a year-round local produce delivery service; customers receive 5 to 8 different fruit and vegetables (depending on bag size), plus optional add-ons. Bags cost $16 to $32 per week, and can be put on hold at any time. It’s flexible!
Field Goods purchases everything directly from over 80 small farms in the region. All of the produce is non-GMO, and most is organically grown.
