September 5, 2018Caregiver and child program for ages 0-3
Baby & Me time focuses on developing your baby’s and toddler's pre-literacy skills. This lap-time story hour will introduce a love for books by using song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. The program will help improve motor, sensory, and social skills during play time. The program runs for an hour and snacks are provided.

September 5, 2018Field Goods is a year-round local produce delivery service; customers receive 5 to 8 different fruit and vegetables (depending on bag size), plus optional add-ons. Bags cost $16 to $32 per week, and can be put on hold at any time. It’s flexible!
Field Goods purchases everything directly from over 80 small farms in the region. All of the produce is non-GMO, and most is organically grown.

September 6, 2018ANNUAL ELECTION BUDGET VOTE will be held at the Town of Ulster Public Library, 860 Ulster Ave, Kingston, NY on Thursday, September 6, 2018 between the hours of 2 pm and 8 pm. The propositions up for a vote are the 2019 budget and the election of (2) two trustees seats for three (3) year terms up for election.
Candidate Bruce Engholm, nominated by petition, seeks a position on the board. Ballots will have a space for write-ins.
The proposed budget calls for $316,368 in tax revenue to support the operation of the Town of Ulster Library in 2019, an increase of 4% ($12,168) from 2018. For these unavailable to vote on Thursday, Sept. 6th, absentee ballot applications are available at the library. All ballots must be returned, sealed in person or by mail by 8 pm on the day of the vote September 6.

This program will engage your children with stories, finger plays and songs and encourage them to learn sounds, letter recognition, and new words as they grow into pre-readers. Each program is followed by a hands-on craft and snacks.
