The library will be closed for safety purposes and will reopen on Friday at 10 AM for normal operating hours. Patrons may drop off returns in the library's drop box outside the front door. "Take Your Child to the Library Day (TYCLD) is an international initiative that encourages families everywhere to take their children to their local library. Launched in 2011 in Connecticut by librarians Nadine Lipman (Waterford Public Library, retired) and Caitlin Augusta (Stratford Library) with artist Nancy Elizabeth Wallace, TYCLD raises community awareness about the importance of the library in the life of a child, and promotes library services and programs for children and families. Join the celebration!" –takeyourchildtothelibrary.org 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Debbie and Zoey, a certified therapy dog, are visiting the library during our story hour! 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Special Story HourSpecial Story Hour – Listen to stories, sing songs and make a special craft.
