Preschool Story HourPreschool Story Hour – Preschool Story Hour taps into the boundless energy of three to five-year-olds to get your child involved in this interactive story time. This program will engage your children with stories, finger plays and songs and encourage them to learn sounds, letter recognition, and new words as they grow into pre-readers. Each program is followed by a hands-on craft and snacks. After School ProgramAfter School Program – Ages 5-12 years Mondays, from September 10th - October 29th at 4:00 pm 9/10 - Decorate the Children's area for Autumn 9/17 - A special guest will teach sign language 9/24 - LEGOS! 10/01 - Craft-Perler Beads 10/08 - Closed for Columbus Day 10/15 - Hexbugs! 10/22 - Begin making holiday cards for the residents in the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury 10/29 - Halloween games, crafts, and music! Read to ZoeyRead to Zoey – Zoey, our friend and trained therapy dog visits and offers young readers a chance to increase their confidence in reading by spending time with a certified therapy dog in a relaxing, stress-free environment. Registration required. Call or come to the desk to schedule a 15 minute session with Zoey. |

Baby & MeBaby & Me – Caregiver and child program for ages 0-3 Baby & Me time focuses on developing your baby’s and toddler's pre-literacy skills. This lap-time story hour will introduce a love for books by using song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. The program will help improve motor, sensory, and social skills during play time. The program runs for an hour and snacks are provided. Field Goods Pick-UpField Goods Pick-Up – Field Goods is a year-round local produce delivery service; customers receive 5 to 8 different fruit and vegetables (depending on bag size), plus optional add-ons. Bags cost $16 to $32 per week, and can be put on hold at any time. It’s flexible! Field Goods purchases everything directly from over 80 small farms in the region. Veteran's Day SpecialsVeteran's Day Specials N/A Town of Ulster Library is OPEN on Veteran’s Day Observed on Monday, November 12th 10 am to 12 pm - Free Coffee and Bagels -Frank Reggero (retired Army, OIF) from the Ulster County (NY) Veteran Services will be on hand to answer questions on VA services and advise/inform the community on needed donation items. 10 am to 12 pm - Easy Craft Projects: -American Flag Pins -Mandala Rocks 10:30 am – 11:30 am – Intergenerational Pre-School Musical Story Hour -Families are encouraged to bring a Veteran family member or a friend or neighbor to join in the story hour (preschool) and the after school program (5-12 years).
