Black History Month in Kingston

February is Black History Month. Join the A.J. Williams-Myers African Roots Library in celebrating with a whole host of historic, educational, and engaging activities all throughout the month, all over Kingston. For example, The first annual Sojourner Truth Life Walk will be held on the 9th, there’s going to be a showing of The Wiz on the 15th, and the TMI Project will be hosting BLACK STORIES MATTER: AN EVENING OF STORIES FROM ACROSS GENERATIONS on the 16th, and this is just scratching the surface!

For more information on the month or on upcoming events, make sure you visit the Black History Month Kingston website, as well as A.J. Williams-Myers African Roots Library’s website.
