African Roots Library

In our fast-paced world, it is easy to overlook some incredibly important topics and experiences. Luckily for Kingston, The Library at the A.J. Williams-Myers African Roots Center is here to help.

The A.J. Williams-Myers African Roots Center is dedicated to “promot[ing] literacy through teaching and learning about the African roots experience, including history and culture, through a dynamic exchange of information, ideas, and creativity.”

You can visit their website to check out their calendar of events and their online catalog, or just go in and see their collection in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 43 Gill Street.

Make sure you stay tuned, as they’re running a bunch of great events in February in honor of Black History Month.
