What do unused medications, half a bottle of windex, and your old cell phone have in common?

They can all be recycled by the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency!

The Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency is a public benefit corporation dedicated to keeping our water sources clean and our landfills down. They offer some services for businesses, such as composting and general recycling. For residents, they provide free drop off locations for cell phones and pharmaceutical waste as well as yearly drives for household waste that you shouldn’t dump down the drain, like Clorox and Windex.

You can visit their website to check out their drop off locations, sign up for one of their household waste drives, and learn more about recycling and composting.  What’re you waiting for?
