October 1-7th is Mental Illness Awareness Week. Mental Illness is a tragically under-diagnosed and underrepresented problem in our society. You never know who around you might be affected.

Their website contains several hotlines and links for various issues, including crisis center information, addiction services, a trans lifeline, senior services, mental health services, and more. It should be your first stop in case of emergency. is a national service dedicated to educating the public, fighting stigma, and providing support for those suffering from mental illness.  From their website, you can find mental health services as well as learn about ways to help those in need.
